It is hard to write about my time at IESB as there is so much to write about!

I was lucky to end up in a really nice class. We are a bit loud and we had some problems, but we supported and helped each other out. There was a lot of support from the teachers, almost so you could say they went "above and beyond the call of duty".

The activities the school arranged was often good and fun but sometimes they could be a bit childish.

"During my time at IESB, I developed as a human being in all aspects. My academic performance was increased in pace with the growing skills at school and my English developed naturally.

IESB was the perfect place to grow up, I got the chance to be the person I wanted to be but at the same time learn about responsibility and respect using the school rules and attitudes. Sure not every day felt like a dream but if I look back at the time, I could not have chosen a better place to spend some of the most important years of my life.

Be surrounded by classmates and competent, creative teachers in a fresh, high school may seem like an idealistic but also an unattainable situation, but it was exactly what I found at IESB! "

IESB gave me a time filled with experiences, learning and happy memories that prepared me for gymnasium in an outstanding way. With engaged and inspiring teachers the school is able to develop students to be driven young people with high ambitions. I am really satisfied with my time at IESB and the school has always been an obvious choice for me!

Going to IESB was probably one of the best things I have done, it gave me an enormous head start in high school.

I had four wonderful years at IESB that i won't forget. The best was the connection between teachers and students. It has been so great and I miss everyone so much.

Working in an IES school is a great opportunity for any foreign teacher in Sweden. I work in an international environment that makes me feel welcome and appreciated. I love working with people from all over the world, it enriches both my life as well as those around me. As most of the students are Swedish and because as a teacher and mentor, I am in regular contact with their families, I have also gained a much greater understanding of the Swedish culture.
