IESB’s fantastic 8E is the best class in the whole Stockholm region at Teknikåttan! Today the regional semifinal and final in the annual Teknikåttan competition took place at KTH's campus. Six classes competed for three final spots. Read more

Camp Confidence

Thirty-five year 7 students in total from Internationella Engelska Skolan’s 17 schools had the chance to take part in a three-day camp at Högbo Bruk, near Sandviken, Gävle.   The Camp is situated on a small island accessed only via a raft featuring wooden cottages heated only by fireplaces. Art Auction Raises Thousands For Charity

Eurovision Trophy Goes to Internationella Engelska Skolan Gävle

  A total of 18 acts from around Sweden faced the music for the ever-popular Modern Languages Eurovision Song Contest. Read more

8E on to Regional Final in Teknikåttan

On the 22nd of March 8E from IESB went to Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan to compete in the annual "Teknikåttan" as one of the 18 best classes in Stockholm from the first round. In this second round these 18 classes competed to qualify for the regional final, where the best class will end up representing Stockholm in the National Final.  Read more

Varning för falsk ”Engelsk Skola”

Skolinspektionen har i dagarna kommit med resultatet från sin tillsyn av en skola på Kungsholmen som kallar sig ”Stockholms Engelska Skola”. Slutsatserna är mycket negativa, bland annat när det gäller den påstådda undervisningen på engelska. Skolan saknar också, enligt Skolinspektionen, ekonomiskt underlag för en uthållig verksamhet.
